We believe that it is important to motivate each woman to embrace responsibility for her own learning. |
From our belief statements: |
|
Putting it into practice:
· All science course have an associated laboratory component.
· Fontbonne Hall students have been accepted into the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education and other prestigious programs.
· Science students do field work at local beaches and museums.
· Forensics students visit the Bodies exhibit, and work with simulated evidence collection and crime scenes.
· The Forensics course was awarded a grant from the Toshiba America foundation for a comparison microscope.
· The Science Club is working in conjunction with the Student Activities Council to turn Fontbonne into a green school.
