Laboratory exercises each cycle reinforce the current classroom topic.

A written lab report according to department guidelines is due each cycle.

Exam Policy

Students should expect daily quizzes covering class work and homework.

Every major topic discussed will conclude with a UNIT EXAMINATION, which is scheduled in advance. Each unit examination covers current material as well as prior topics.

Student who are absent for a unit exam must make an appointment with the subject teacher for a make up examination.

All make up exams must be completed by the end of the cycle following absence. A parent teacher conference will be requested for students who miss two regularly scheduled unit exams.

A cumulative Midterm examination will be given in January and a cumulative Final examination will be given in June. All students will be required to take the New York State Regents Examination in Living Environment.
