Fontbonne has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual. It has encouraged me to strive for greatness and push myself to the limit in all circumstances. Throughout my time here at Fontbonne, I have been enrolled in 4 AP courses, several honors courses and science research. These advanced courses, specifically Science Research, has allowed me to grow as a student - by learning time management, how to be independent, and how to work well with others. Besides academics, Fontbonne has also encouraged me to become as involved in the school as i can be. I am currently the president of the Student Activities Council, as well as Friends for Life. I am newly inducted into the National Honors Society and will be serving as the publicity/webmaster. I am also a member of Bonnie Bluestockings and culture Club. Additionally, I have been a member of the varsity cheerleading team for 4 years, serving as the captain for the current season. These extracurricular activities have taught me how to be a well-rounded student and how to balance both academics and extracurricular activities. All that I have accomplished here at FHA has led me to receive the Rising Star award at the 2017 “Stars Under 40” Awards and Networking Event. I firmly believe that my time here at FHA has fully prepared me to attend the college of my choice. I hope to attend a college in New York City and pursue a major in either speech or physical therapy.
