Is the Big Bad Wolf really a criminal?
YES! Says Little Red Riding Hood YES! Says the Woodcutter YES! Say the Three Little Pigs
The juries have spoken. NOT GUILTY.
Despite the excellent case mounted by the Prosecution (The Fairy Godmother), in the end, both the Saturday and Sunday “courtrooms” found the Big Bad Wolf too charming and persuasive to be found Guilty.
The plot was filled with twists and turns and lots of family drama as well. The well-known relationships played out as expected — the Boy Who Cried Wolf was still a trial to the Shepherd, Little Red Riding Hood was still impulsive, and the first two Little Pigs did not seem to have learned much from their housing errors. However, a surprising courtroom revelation — that renowned psychiatrist Little Miss Muffet was, in fact, the adopted sister of the Big Bad Wolf himself — threw the courtroom into a frenzy and may, in fact, have tipped the scales in BBW’s favor.
Brilliant production and direction by the team of Mrs. Horgan and Ms. McGlone added a spark to the clever dialogue and spirited musical numbers.
