Jenna Gaglioti '20 has spent her Fontbonne career taking a total of 11 AP classes while maintaining principal’s list and first honors, earning an AP Scholar Award in the spring. Jenna is currently enrolled in a number of research classes, where she is in the process of executing her own original projects. Her Science Research project investigated geographical risk factors for canine lymphoma under the mentorship of a clinician and researcher at the University of Missouri; her AP Research project is currently studying abnormal canine behaviors.

Jenna also spends her time in a variety of extra-curricular activities. She was a member of Fontbonne’s Cheer Team for three years, acting as co-coach for the JV team in her junior year. She is currently an executive officer for the Students for Soldiers Club and Respect Club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She will also be a feature dancer for FHA’s upcoming production of Legally Blonde. Her favorite activity, however, is performing as a member of the Fontbonne Speech Team. In addition to being qualified for the statewide tournament, Jenna and her partner Dianna Gentile ‘20, have had great success at competing, recently placing first at the nationwide Princeton Tournament.

In addition to being a CSJ Leader at Fontbonne, Jenna is a lector and CCD teacher’s assistant at her home parish, Our Lady of Solace. She also spends her free time volunteering at the Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge helping postoperative patients.

Jenna will be attending Cornell University next fall, with a major in Animal Sciences. She then plans to attend veterinary school to focus on opening her own private veterinary practice in the future.
