Brianna Alicandro (‘20) has spent her Fontbonne career maintaining Principal’s List while taking 5 AP classes as well as 5 Honors classes and being actively involved in multiple extracurricular activities. Throughout the past four years, she has been a dedicated player of Fontbonne’s softball, soccer, and basketball teams. This past year, she represented Fontbonne in the NYC Mayor’s Cup “Best in the City” Soccer Championships. In addition, she was awarded captain of the JV Softball Team, JV Basketball Team, and Varsity Soccer Team. While playing on three different teams for Fontbonne, she also plays on a travel softball team for the Dyker Heights Athletic Association (DHAA) Knights.
Brianna has been on SAC since sophomore year and is currently the Vice President of Fontbonne Hall Academy. She is an active member of LifeStream Club, Adventure Club, and National Honor Society. She is also a part of Select Chorus and had the amazing opportunity to sing on stage at Carnegie Hall. In addition, she dedicates her spare time volunteering at the DHAA Knights. She teaches softball to young female athletes and enhances their skills in order to be more confident on and off the field.
Brianna applied to 10 colleges and has been awarded scholarships of academic excellence to all. She intends to pursue a major in biology with the goal of attending medical school and becoming an orthopedic doctor.
