College Advisement

The College Advisement and Student Support Services Office works very hard to ensure our students enjoy the most successful and rewarding school experience possible: academically, socially, and spiritually.

Our staff members encourage academic curiosity, personal integrity, and global awareness leading to a spirit of lifelong learning.

From the first day of school to the completion of their final college applications, we offer academic advisement to ensure appropriate and competitive course selection, guidance in writing a personal essay for college applications, and everything else a student will require to submit a final applications. Mrs. Tugander is our Director of College Counseling, and she would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the College

Our students use Naviance to support all aspects of their college search process. With the help of our counselors, students discover their interests, research colleges, craft a college list, and monitor their submission and admissions status.

During the fall semesters of 10th and 11th Grades, our students take the PSAT to begin the conversation about standardized testing. We coach students on the differences between the SAT and ACT, helping students decide which test is best for them and their aspirations.

We can also introduce students to appropriate test prep courses, if we feel it will benefit their efforts.
