We can offer merit-based scholarships to qualifying 8th Grade students applying for admission into 9th Grade. Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on a girl’s scholarship exam results, in addition to her TACHS score, overall application, middle school transcript and letters of recommendations. 

Girls who want to be considered for a merit-based scholarship must submit the required admissions materials in addition to taking the FH Scholarship Exam. Applicants who wish to be considered for a merit-based scholarship must submit an application by the November 15th deadline and take the FHA Scholarship Exam on Saturday, November 18 at 9am (or on the alternate date, Tuesday, November 21 at 3:30pm). All applicants will receive an email invite in early November to take the scholarship exam. In addition to the scholarship exam, we will consider students for a scholarship based on their TACHS score, overall application, middle school transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Scholarship priority is given to those students who put FHA as their first choice.

We are pleased to offer FACTS Grant & Aid for your financial aid application.

If you have a FACTS Management login from a prior financial aid application or former school, you may use it to apply for aid.  First time financial aid applicants will need to create a FACTS Management login.  

Financial aid is not renewable and families need to re-apply for financial aid every school year. Financial aid applications for returning students must be submitted between mid-December and mid-February of the prior school year.  Please see the Tuition and Financial Aid page on the school website for detailed  information.

The Financial aid deadline for incoming 9th graders is December 1.

Please note, parents and/or guardians who are not applying jointly (on one application) need to apply individually for financial aid. The determination of aid will be calculated based on combined incomes, regardless of marital status.

Families need to re-apply for financial aid every school year. Parents and/or guardians can complete an online application for tuition assistance. Our financial aid filing period for the coming school year begins on December 14, 2023. The application should be submitted with supporting documentation by February 24, 2024. Applications pending supporting documentation must be completed by the cutoff date to be considered for Financial Aid. Approved Financial Aid awards will be credited to your tuition account before May 1st. 

For families with two daughters attending Fontbonne during the same year (God bless your patience), your tuition account will be discounted a total of $2,000.

For families with three daughters attending during the same year (God really blesses your patience), your tuition account will be discounted a total of $3,000.

Tuition accounts for parents and/or guardians who share tuition responsibility will be credited proportionately.
