Visual Arts

Our Visual Arts program provides students of all abilities, talents, and interests the opportunity to gain technical skills while exploring the boundaries of their creativity.

Along with her classmates, each student at Fontbonne Hall works across a variety of mediums-- from drawing and painting to sculpture to photography, and so on -in collaboration with expert and passionate teachers.

While all our young women will surely discover unknown talents in our program, students need not be committed to a career as an artist to benefit from visual arts. For example, drawing is a method of studying the world around you. It develops a student’s observational skills, as well as her patience, resilience, focus, and problem-solving.

To quote a well-known artist, “Creativity takes courage.” That courage begins here.
