Honoring the old. Ushering in the New.

Senior Sisters

Each 9th grader is matched to a senior sister. This 12th grader will help guide the new “freshwoman” through the ropes of becoming a Bonnie. Their sisterhood is officially kicked off at our Opening Mass for the school year, where they process in side-by-side and share a fun picnic later on that day.

Faculty Advisory Group

Students are assigned to an FA (Faculty Advisory Group), which is like homeroom.  Our FA is the core of academic and extracurricular life, as each FA travels their four years together with the same Faculty Advisor.

Sports Night

Sports Night is an intramural competition that takes place yearly and incorporates sport competitions, collaboratively designed year themes, dance, costumes and artwork.

“Bonnies and Buddies" Dance

Parent involvement in the extracurricular life of their daughters’ dates back to the 1940’s when Dads took their daughters out for an evening to the “Father-Daughter” Dance. To this day, Bonnies dance the night away with their “Buddy” and enjoy an evening out. This evening has become known as the “Bonnies and Buddies Dance”.

Mother Daughter LUNCHEON

The Mother Daughter Communion Breakfast has evolved into the Graduate Luncheon, which is held the week of graduation to celebrate that special relationship.

Senior SunRise

On the first day of school our seniors meet at the shore to watch the “sunrise” on their final year as Bonnies and to symbolically raise their sisterhood into a stronger bond. On the last day of classes, they meet again to watch the sun set on their life at Fontbonne.
