MARIE MARRONE-MORIARTY

OPTOMETRIC CONSULTANT

 

After graduating from Fontbonne’s Class of 1981, Dr. Marie Marrone-Moriarty attended Manhattan College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Marie went on to earn another BS in Visual Science, and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, currently part of Salus University in Philadelphia. She completed a residency in Vision Therapy at the State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan. After joining the faculty at SUNY College of Optometry, Marie was named the first director of the College’s Head Trauma unit in 1995.

Dr. Marrone-Moriarty has authored journal articles, worked in several private practices, consulted at two schools for the deaf, and several schools for children with learning disabilities. She continues as an optometric consultant at the St. Francis De Sales and St. Joseph Schools for The Deaf.
