MEGAN RAVENEAU

CLASS OF 2013

SCRIPT WRITER FOR DISNEY AND NETFLIX ANIMATED SERIES

Megan was born and raised in Brooklyn by a registered nurse and a contractor from the tiny island of St. Lucia. At a young age, Megan found her love for art, reading, and writing. After hearing about the amazing Art and English programs from her older sister, she decided to attend Fontbonne Hall Academy. At Fontbonne, she joined the Major Art program where she was inspired to turn her love of art and writing toward film and television. With the help and guidance of Mr. Bellinger, Megan curated a portfolio that influenced her acceptance and placement in the Brooklyn College Film School. Using the techniques and concepts she learned in Major Art, Megan graduated Brooklyn College with a bachelor’s in Film Production and gained admittance into Loyola Marymount University’s Writing for the Screen Program in Los Angeles. During her time at Loyola, she balanced her writing intensive courses with internships at management companies and production studios using the time management skills she learned at Fontbonne. After graduating in 2020, Megan was soon hired as a script coordinator for the new Disney Jr. show, Eureka! She is currently a staff writer on a new, unannounced Netflix adult animated series.
